My compass arrived today – exactly two days after I ordered
it! Thank you for the excellent service.
You may be interested to know why I chose this item at this
time.
Last week, a nautical compass that had belonged to my late
father was stolen from my office at work. My father was a seafaring man whose
adventures included WWII Atlantic convoys and ships supporting D-Day. After he
“swallowed the anchor” and came ashore to raise a family, he always owned a
boat. Before selling his last sailboat, I removed the compass as a sort of
final “decommissioning." Mounted on an oak plaque, it stood on my office
shelf until it was stolen.
While I am very much my father’s son, I sought my adventures
in the desert rather than at sea, serving in several elite Israeli infantry
units. Although I could have found a vintage nautical compass for about
what I paid for the Cammenga, I felt that the best way to honor my father’s
memory was to polish my land navigation skills.
So now I guess I need to start walking and use
the thing!

I would like to say first that the Cammenga lensatic compass has no equal for its purpose. My own 3H Tritium lensatic has been in deserts and tundra, through mud, sand, and water yet the powder coat finish still looks like new and no moisture has built up in it and it worked flawlessly.
Unfortunately, I accidentally over magnetized the compass at some point (as far as I know). Cammenga didn't hesitate to have me send in my 11 year old compass for repair. It had to be at their factory for only a day or two before they sent it back looking beautiful and working like new! I called many times when the compass was in route, in repairs, post repair, and after I received it and they never got annoyed in the slightest. This is a company that stands behind their product and their customers. Thanks again guys.

Dear Cammenga,
In relation to your Easy Loader's and Easy Mag's, I have
never found anything more impressive, ingenious and absolutely a MUST have item
for an avid shooter. The idea behind a semi auto or full auto weapon is rapid
deployment of ammunition, if you spend hours hand feeding your magazines, it
takes the rapid out of the equation. I found the easy loader many years ago and
simply loved it, I wound up donating it along with thirty 30 round mags and my
Bushmaster 223 to the local Swat team. Over the years, I really missed my 223
and just purchased another. My Problem was to now try and find that same Easy
Loader, I remembered the Company was local to my area and with a stroke of
luck, I found not only the Easy Loader but, they had added the Easy Load
magazine. It was like I found a gold mine. These are simply the best built and
thought out products on the market. Every gun maker, gun shop & Government
agency should be breaking down the doors for the opportunity to offer these.
Cammenga family, keep up the great work, you are all awesome with your ideas
and products!
